On 5 Aug 2010, I received confirmation from Dorceal Hamilton that her grandfather's name was John. Assuming this is the correct family of Hamiltons.

207 There is a 14 year old "Margaret Nanny" living with a Thompson family in the 1850 Madison County, Kentucky Census. Census Margaret indicates a birthplace of Kentucky, not Tennessee. Not sure if this is the same Margaret.  Nanney, Margaret R. (I6568)
